Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Joseph, Camilla, and I are taking part in the Yorkshire 1 Peak Challenge to try and help young children less fortunate than ourselves.

PhysCap is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children suffering from severe physical and mental disabilities within the Yorkshire area. We are the last resort for families who may have limited funds to buy specialist or therapeutic equipment for their children to help make their lives a little easier. In the past, we have supported children with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Cats Eye Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome and Muscular Dystrophy to name but a few.

Over the past 25 years we have provided countless families with equipment ranging from touch screen computer systems and adapted treadmills to electric buggies and specially adapted trikes. We’ve also helped with funding for children who require both therapy and conductive education.

The PhysCap team are walking Pen y Gent to raise funds so we can help as many families and children as possible. This event is one of the first after covid and we need you to help us raise as much money as possible.
