In October 2021 i was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer of the Head and Neck. After a couple of operations to remove tonsils and teeth i started my intensive treatment of Chemo therapy and Radio therapy for 3 months which left me unable to eat and due to other complications i had several stays in The Christie.  i was fitted with a tube in my stomach so i could have a liquid diet. 11 months later i have had the good news that i am now Cancer free and in recovery. This year i was invited to do The Chew me up  and spit me out so this years charity is for The Christie.
