Campaign by Garden House Hospice (RCN 295257)
A Fun 5k obstacle course set in the beautiful grounds of Woodhall Estate, Watton at Stone. Fun for all the family and a great team event for those looking for a light hearted bit of fun in the mud!

Story

This was one of the favourite events of my great friend Andy Scaplehorn. He entered it most years, and although I did many daft sporting events with him, we never did this one together. Andy died in 2021 from Bowel cancer, and was cared for by the Garden House Hospice through his final weeks.

So this is all about Andy. We, a mottley crew of various of his best friends and family, are doing this (now for the second time) to remember him doing what he loved to do. He was one of my best friends and I miss him lots.

Go Team Scaplegoats!

Fundraising events like Muddy Mayhem 2023 go a long way to help Garden House Hospice care raise the money we need to be able to continue to provide our free palliative care to the North Herts community. We need to raise over £9,500 every day to fund our care - because of the rising costs of living, this is £2,000 more per day than 2 years ago. Every penny raised through sponsorship really will help!
