Story
My son O, was born deaf and later diagnosed with the rare genetic condition Ushers Syndrome. In addition to his deafness, the Ushers Syndrome also causes reduced balanced function and in time progressive sight loss.
While we have received support from various groups to understand and get to grips with this diagnoses, I now want to support research into the cure and care of Ushers
So with that in mind, I will be riding the 220km from my home in Bristol to Great Ormond St in London in one day.
CUREUsher raises funds for research into a cure for Usher syndrome, the leading cause of genetically inherited hearing and sight loss - and raises awareness of the condition affecting over 400,00 people worldwide.CUREUsher is a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1181293
