Story
🌟 36 miles! Consisting of extremely high winds; some hail, rain and sun. Just over 7 hours of running. 75,000 steps. My biggest achievement in support of The National Brain Appeal
🌟 Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, you have smashed the target 🙏
🌟 What a brilliant event by Endurancelife
🌟 Highs and lows throughout. I'm so proud of myself considering I didn't think I could do it. I remember being on the beach in extremely high winds, pain everywhere, with 16 miles left. Ahead were all the other amazing runners and I just realised I am surrounded by greatness which gave me the motivation to keep going.
🌟 At mile 33, Liv found me on the beach which was the best surprise and ran with me ❤️
🌟 When I had got to the finish my watch said 35 miles but I had officially ran 36. However, I came to do 36 miles and see it on my watch 😆 so I continued past the finish line for 1 extra mile to make it 36 on my watch and 37 miles overall.
🌟 Next goal is 40!
My dad, George, suffers with hydrocephalus and dandy walker so I wanted to raise some money for The National Brain Appeal who help millions of people affected by brain and neurological disorders.
I want take on my biggest challenge of running 36 miles. Running from Alnwick to Bamburgh Castle.
"The Northumberland coastline boasts some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the UK and is best known for its sweeping sandy beaches, rolling dunes, high rocky cliffs, and isolated islands. This striking landscape is steeped in history and there are few sights on earth that compare with Bamburgh Castle and its expansive and exposed bayside setting".
