We fund research into SMA to help find a cure and treatments

Story

I was always looking forward to the day when Stanley (my son) would meet Rowan, with Stanley only a few months older they would have looked so good together, two little cuties. Like me, Helen and countless others Stanley too smiled whenever we showed him pictures of Rowan, you just can’t help but beam a smile back at her.  Unfortunately that day never came.

At just 18 months old on the 23rd November 2012 Rowan peacefully lost her brave fight with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1b.

SMA is the U.K's biggest genetic killer of children under 2 years old. 40% of us carry a gene that can result in our children been born with SMA, with this in mind I am not only doing this in memory of Rowan, but for her family, for my Stanley and for your sons and daughters future families.

Rowan will always be remembered, Matt and Sarah will always be Rowans mum and dad, and now with every donation there will always be hope for our childrens children.
