Story

I've run a few half marathons in my time but, this September, it's going to be a little different.

Our inspiration is my dear sister Clare who created a massive hole in our universe when she passed away on 6th June 2013. I never thought I'd find myself writing these words until relatively recently when the skin cancer, first diagnosed in February 2012, became too much and set into motion a chain of events that would turn our lives upside down. Despite the tragedy of her passing, Clare's spirit and soul live on in 'Team Happy Feet' running on September 15th. My chosen charity is St Leonard's Hospice in York - the place that nursed Clare in her final few weeks.

There's going to be laughs and a few tears for sure in September - and hopefully there'll be a very good cause better off through your kind support. Thank you.
