Story
I am running the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my dad, Brian Oliver. Dad’s life was completely changed by his cardiac arrest in 2008. His resulting brain injury made life difficult for himself and my mum and I. I’m running the half marathon to support the amazing research the British Heart Foundation does to discover new treatments and cures. Dad was a big supporter of the BHF. Their research has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease but there is still plenty work to be done. I’d really appreciate any donations!
