Story
I have decided to make exercise part of my daily routine. For those who know me, you may remember (if your memory is very good) that I once took my fitness very seriously. Now I am probably one of those typical people who put family and work time ahead of my own wellbeing and I want to make a change.
I know that if I set a challenge, it will help me focus and get back on track, so here it goes.
30 miles in 30 days may not sound a lot but going from zero it will be for me. The plan is to do more miles and get out for a walk or run as many times in the 30 days as I can.
My charity
Rays of Sunshine have been my chosen charity since I had the privilege to work with them at the start of my career. They do incredible work brightening the lives of seriously ill young people and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support within hospitals.
Their belief is that every child deserves to experience happiness and put their illness on hold – even if it is just for one day. Any money raised goes towards supporting the work of this incredible charity.
