Story
The good news is, we made it!! We cycled into Robin Hoods Bay on Sunday afternoon having completed the 212 mile journey (plus a few ill-timed detours) across the Lakes, the Dales and the Moors to rapturous applause from Jon's Brother . . . I would just like to thank everyone who supported us and of course for your generous sponsorship, it really made the trip worthwhile.
Check out our 'Captain's Blog' to see photographs and footage of our journey. Sorry but all the crashes went unrecorded except in our memories. Please follow the link http://ccc2ccc.wordpress.com/ and decide if you want to go for it.

In an effort to raise money for our chosen Charity, along with a bunch of like minded hooligans; Graham (Capt Keen), Mike (Capt Cookie), Jon (Capt Perfect), we chose to ride the 210 mile mountain bike challenge from St Bees (Lake District) to Robin Hoods bay (Whitby) (all off-road and following some of the Wainwright route). We rode (mostly) the route between 6th to 10th April, thankfully enjoying some absolutely beautiful weather along the way.
The ride was in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust which is a charity which believes that teenagers should not have to stop being teenagers just because they have cancer. TCT build specialist units for young people in NHS hospitals. These units bring teenagers with cancer together with loads of new friends of their own age so they can support each other. Remember what you did as a teenager?
Please dig deep to support me and the team as every single £ counts.
