Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having completed London to Windsor last year my challenge for this year is the 2011 London Bikeathon in support of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. The course is 26 miles from Battersea Power Station around London and will take place on the 26th June 2011.

My motivation and drive for this event comes from my wife, whose friend Julie sadly lost her fight against Leukaemia last year. Julie was only in her early 30's and spent a few years fighting the disease. She was a lovely, kind hearted person who never said a bad word about anyone and was always there for her friends. It's in her memory that I will dedicate my efforts this year as although she is no longer with us she is still missed and will never be forgotten.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
