Story

Brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life walking, talking, thinking and feeling and the losses can be severe and permanent. It can mean losing both the life you once lived and the person you once were. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, Headway is there to help.

Several years ago we saw first-hand the incredibly tough individual resilience required by dad and the huge importance Headway support can provide to so many families and individuals. This is why the continual funding of these services is critical. So hopefully through raising some additional funds and turning efforts into action we can help play our small part.

I am lucky enough to be running the London Marathon on behalf of Headway as part of the plan to run 4x marathons across 5 weekends in October (including 3 in Switzerland for Myeloma UK, on a different page). The marathons are:

2 Oct: London

9 Oct: Sparkasse (Lindau / St Margarethen / Bregenz)

23 Oct: Lausanne

30 Oct: Lucerne

Any support is hugely appreciated and means a great deal!
