Back in 1980 and 1990 my brother Ian had two heart operations to replace faulty heart valves and is due a third in the near future.

Leading on from this after a minor operation it was found that our father Gordon also had various heart problems and sadly passed away on 22nd March after a short illness.

Both myself and sister were advised to be checked and found to also have heart problems and can now be monitored to make sure they do not get worse.

Thanks to the excellent care the Wessex Cardiac Trust have given to all the family and our father Gordon in his illness we decided along with Gordon's wife Edna that instead of flowers that all donations be made to Wessex Heartbeat for the Wessex Cardiac Trust.
