Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Katie Melua may indeed be right – “there are 9 million bicycles in China” but let’s face it, it is pretty unlikely you would see me on one! J
Having said that I am cycling the London to Brighton route on Sunday 19th June for the British Heart Foundation, 54 miles where my hamster-like legs will be revolving away hoping that I get there before I have to lay on the floor and pass out. I know there are a lot of requests for donation for many worthwhile causes but anything you can spare to this amazing charity that does so much good for so many would be appreciated.
So why should you sponsor me? Well here are a few tid-bits of inspiration...
- It’s 54 miles....normally a distance which I think is a little silly to be cycling without either being threatened by a cattle prod or cheered on by potential future wife Pippa M*
- The charity itself is (and pardon the pun) very close to my heart with a scary number my own extended family suffering for heart conditions themselves. The British Heart Foundation and those who run it are truly amazing people.
- The lovely company of Microsoft will match the final total donations raised and therefore double the amount!
There was suggestions of me doing this in fancy dress which i am considering if I get to a high enough level of donations and if the suggestions for an outfit aren’t too insane. Many thanks to my former Karate teammates but there is no way I am wearing a man-kini, the world is not ready for that much Lam-loving.
Hope you all have a great day!

* I reserve the right for my complete dellusion of love life but if Pippa isn’t available I would be more than happy if Kiera was there.
