When my mum was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, we never once thought we would only have 1 year left with her. Throughout that year, she continued to be the most generous, selfless, kind and caring woman I have ever met, still continually putting others needs before her own. We unexpectedly lost my mum on the 1st of December 2022, and I am running the Edinburgh Marathon for her, but also for all of the other families affected by cancer in an effort to be just a fraction as selfless and generous as my mum was. I know that times are tough right now but if you can spare anything at all it would be greatly appreciated.
