On 23^rd April 2023 I am privileged and excited to be running the iconic London Marathon.

The Newman Holiday Trust is determined to change the lives of young people with disabilities and special needs. Annually 120 children are given the opportunity to attend one of 7 amazing summer holiday adventures around the UK. They’ve been doing this incredible work for over 40 years and are recognised as outstanding by Ofsted. Last year my daughter had the opportunity to attend the Newman East Midlands holiday and in her words it was 'the best thing ever' We could not have asked for a more dedicated team of volunteers to look after her. It was everything and more that we could have hoped for... it really did change our daughter's life. 

The Trust is an entirely voluntary organisation and owes its success to over 200 people who dedicate their free time to helping these children. This voluntary structure ensures that every penny raised goes directly towards a child’s holiday. £5 buys a present for a child; £25 provides a horse riding experience for a group; £300 can provide a child with a week long holiday. The Trust relies on people’s generosity to help continue this vital work.
