Andrew's Coast to Coast challenge
Fundraising for The PSP Association
Fundraising for The PSP Association
On the 3rd August I completed the Coast to Coast, covering 186 miles in total. It was a very demanding cycle route with steep hills and long country lanes. If you would still like to donate my story is below. Thanks.
My dad recently passed away after being diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). I have taken on the challenge of cycling the Hadrian's Coast to Coast on behalf of the PSP Association.
My dad was a keen cyclist who completed many cycling challenges, including the Coast to Coast route. I'm cycling in his memory and will complete this on his beloved bike. On the 1st August I will travel 175 miles from Ravenglass in Cumbria to my home town of Whitley Bay over 3 days.
PSP is a fatal brain condition that mainly effects the ability to walk, talk and eat.
There is currently no treatment and no cure for PSP and that is why I am raising funds for the PSP Association, who fund research into the causes, treatments and an eventual cure for PSP.
Any donations, big or small, are much appreciated!!
Thank you.
Andrew
