My name is Andy Grimmer and just over 3 years ago my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Having undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy he also would have to take medication for the rest of his life. Fast forward to now and we received the news that the medication was no longer controlling his psa as it should and that it was back. What the future holds we really don't know. What I do know is that on the 3rd of July I am entered into the Ironman uk triathlon a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle followed by a 26.2 mile marathon run. This gave me the idea that possibly by setting up this page I can raise some awareness and a bit of money to help future research. Right through my dad's illness so many people have been involved in helping and it felt only right to try and give somthing back. If nothing else if someone reads this and goes and gets checked out if they feel somthing isn't right then my whole page hasn't been for nothing
