Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving.
Another year, another challenge!! 2016 was the London Marathon, 2017 The Great North Run, 2018 Football to Amsterdam. So what to do for 2019 – well I find myself signed up to do the Great North Run again. I’m delighted to be running on behalf of Prostate Cancer UK – raising awareness and funds to help reduce the statistic of 1 man dying every 45 minutes from this terrible disease.
This charity has a special place in my heart – having helped my dad beat this terrible disease, and supported me and my family through this difficult time. Without them the journey to recovery would have been much harder. The charity is really making great strides in their research to come up with early detection tests and treatment that will hopefully go some way to reducing the statistic of prostate cancer killing 1 in 8 men.
Wouldn’t it be great to know you’ve helped to save a life, helped to reduce the statistics? All you’ve got to do is send me a donation – no matter how big or small!! It all counts. I’ll do all the training and the running on the day – but would be great to know I have your support behind me to make our quest worthwhile.
Together we can make a difference and help someone’s husband, dad, brother, grandad or uncle survive! Thank you for your support, I’ll be running in my dad’s memory.
Please if you can drop a few penny’s in my JustGiving page it makes the world of difference.
I love and miss you dad
Thanks
Andy
