I have been lucky enough to get a place in this years London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October so I thought I should put it to good use and try to fund raise for NAYBR. I have never run the London Marathon before so this is a first for me. I have been training hard through the summer to prepare for this event and hopefully I will reach the finish line without embarrassing myself. I have had a NAYBR orange running vest made with the rescue logo on the front so I will stand out on the telly, look out for me. 

NAYBR cannot survive without the support of the many followers it has and hopefully you will all read this and dig deep to support me with this project to raise much needed funds. The last 18 months or so have been tough for NAYBR, in 2020 we were unable to attend any of our usual fundraising events, 2021 has been a little better but we had to cancel our own Fun Day once again due to Covid. Through the winter there are very few opportunities to raise funds for the rescue so this may be one of our last opportunities for 2021. 

We have to continue to financially support all of our dogs in foster care, kennel fees have to be paid and every new dog coming in has to be checked over by the vet, its surprising how the costs mount up. I want to do what I can for NAYBR with your help
