Fundraising for The Prince's Trust
Story
Mountain running is my hobby and takes up most of my spare time. On Saturday 5th Sept I will be racing up and down Britain's highest mountain Ben Nevis - 4406 feet - it's not the first time I've done it, in fact this year will be my 16th time. I thought it would be a good idea to combine all this effort with some fundraising to give me additional motivation to ensure I finish the race. My target time is around 2 hours 20 mins - I promise I won't be last, but probably around 45 minutes after the leaders!! RBS staff in the North West are making individual efforts to raise money for the Princes Trust and this is my contribution - if you feel able to contribute then I and the Princes Trust would be extremely grateful.

The Prince’s Trust is a UK charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, they help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.The RBS group is a long term supporter of The Prince’s Trust and we have committed £5 million over five years to support the Trust’s core work, while encouraging its employees as volunteers and fundraisers for all of the major Prince’s Trust programmes.
