Pedal for Pounds 10.5 with Made by Cooper is a 130 mile bike ride in aid of the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Kirkwood and Platform 1.The event challenges Town fans to cycle from Huddersfield to Harrogate & back, returning to the John Smiths Stadium in time for the last home game of the regular season against Bristol City. Route on day one, 06 May 2022 one is 65 miles starting in  Burnsall, before heading through Kettlewell and Middleham and ending at the overnight accommodation in Harrogate.Day two, on 07 May 2022, will be a straight 33-mile route from Harrogate back to the John Smiths Stadium in time for kick-off.

In July 2014 the Yorkshire Air Ambulance rescued my friend after a serious bike accident in a remote part of Hade Edge. The speed and dedication of the Air Ambulance helped save his leg. After 17 months, a full recovery was made and he now enjoys cycling again!  This would have been so different without this incredible service, skilled pilots and dedicated NHS paramedics, surgeons and staff.
