Story
After picking up the 'running bug' during the pandemic, I've rather foolishly signed up and agreed to run the London Marathon in October.
I've decided to run and raise money for Pendleside Hospice because it's a charity which, in its own words, "simply couldn't survive without the generosity of the local communities". Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers.
I've never run more than 13 miles so this will be a big challenge for me because I'm not a natural born runner. Both my grandad and uncle have completed the London Marathon on multiple occasions so I'm hoping to do the Frost name proud and complete the course in a respectable time.
Every pound donated will give me that extra bit of motivation to get out and train and to keep me going when the big day arrives.
Thank you!
