Story
I will have been furloughed for 11 weeks when I go back to work on 8th June. Ruth has been in the thick of it at Ipswich Hospital and I have had the privilege of caring for Joseph and Alice. Never would I have imagined getting to spend so much time my children at this age - I’ve loved it but it is blooming exhausting so I’ve taken to running longer and longer distances!
I decided, quite last minute, that a good way to end my furlough would be to try and run a marathon. I’ve been reading how charities have been struggling due to the number of cancelled fundraising events so have decided to try and raise a few bob.
I’m going to run from home (in Bildeston) to Kettlebaston, Hitcham, Semer, Whatfield, Hadleigh, Kersey, Lindsey, Melton, Brent Eleigh, Kettlebaston and back to Bildeston. I’ve been promised some support at a few spots on my route and am looking to survive rather than achieve any specific times.
If you have a few quid kicking about I’d so appreciate the support.
Cheers x
