Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am entered to partake in the London to Brighton bike Ride 2011 for 54 miles of a**e soreness! :)

Now being in my 40th year I wanted to start to get a little active and wanted a great goal and great cause to work for.

I have been training for the event for the last few months, including riding through the very cold February months, getting in from those rides and not being able to feel your feet really takes some determination!!  Recent training in the sun has been much more pleaseant but brings other issues (sweat, chaffing...I won't go on!).

The furthest training ride I've managed so far is 36 miles......so a lot further on the day!!

BHF is a great cause so please give generously, I am sure like me you have been affected by friends and family suffering with heart conditions.  I have already lost two granddads and an uncle to heart issues, all great men whose lives were cut far too short.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks in advance,

Andy
