Land’s End to John O’Groats, 12 June 2021
We empower people who are visually impaired to succeed in a sighted world

Story

I reached John O Groats in northern Scotland on Tuesday 22nd June at 10pm, nine days and 1,026 miles after setting off from Lands End in Cornwall. This has all been recorded on my Strava.

I set out to cycle the famous Lands End to John O Groats - affectionately known as LEJOG - mainly following Sustrans routes because I wanted to experience a more scenic route. This meant I clocked up about 100 miles more than the most direct route but I travelled through some beautiful countryside, villages and towns and met lots of interesting people on route.

Big shout out to my brother Ashley who drove the support van and to my wife and the family too. Also, thanks to anyone who has donated and if you haven't yet, there's still time to help me reach my target of £1,000.

I am raising vital funds for the RNC, a national residential college for young people age 16-25 with visual impairment from all over the UK, which is based in Herefordshire.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving and they'll never send you unwanted emails or sell your information on to third parties. Once you donate, they'll send your donation straight to the RNC, along with any claimable gift aid, saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you!
