We raise funds to tackle homelessness to ensure nobody need sleep rough

Story

On Saturday the 29th of September I will be taking part in the Thames Path Challenge.  This involves me walking 31 miles (50 km) in a day along the Thames path, starting at Putney and finishing some 10 - 12 hours later at Runnymede in Surrey.

I am in training and am currently recovering from a 10 mile walk in the Chilterns yesterday.

I am participating in this challenge to raise funds for Open Door, a night shelter that does great work for homeless  people in St. Albans in Hertfordshire.

As you are no doubt aware, the current economic climate has impacted on everyone and stretched the resources of all charities.  This has led to an increase in the number of people who are homeless and who have no where to stay.  Imagine not having the comforts of your home and not knowing where you  will be spending the night?

Please support me to raise money for the valuable service that Open Door provides
