Hello, Thanks for taking time to read my page.

My son Ben has the rare life limiting disease Niemann-pick type c.

When  we was told Ben had this disease, it was really left to us to read up about it on the internet by the hospital.

Then  the Niemann-pick disease group uk contacted us, They sent a nurse to visit Ben  all the way from Manchester to Bradford on Avon.

This was the type of support we badly needed, people that understood  how our lives was turned upside down and inside out and what the future holds . We also got to know other familys through the group who have children with the disease.

My trip to Kilimanjaro is  to raise awareness of Niemann-pick disease and also to raise  funds for the small charity the Niemann-pick disease group uk. If you could sponsor me it would mean that familys will continue to get the support they need.

My charity challenge to climb Kilimanjaro is organised by Private Expeditions.
