On behalf of this wonderful charity, I've committed to cycle 50 miles (80km) along the Taff Trail on Saturday 6 October: starting at The Theatre in Brecon, through the Brecon Beacons; passing Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd, and then finishing in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. I've got the bike, the gel seat and the padded fat-bottomed shorts: now, I just need some sponsorship to drive me on when the going gets tough - which I know it will!
