Mera Peak trek 2010

Fundraising for Help for Heroes
Hi all
Have just returned from my trek to Mera Peak in the Himalayas in Nepal.
Dissapointingly I didn't quite make the summit, I got upto about 6000m which is 500m short of the top. Breathing issues probably caused by the chest infection I started it with.
Anyway a wonderful experience albeit tough on body and sole with some extreme ascents and descents as part of the acclimatisation process.
Below is a link to my picasa photo page of the trek to share the wonderful panaramas I had the pleasure of taking pictures of.

As stated before I went to nepal this was not a charity trek but if I can raise some need funds in these financially strtched times that would be great so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Please enjoy the pictures as much as i did in taking them.
Thankyou for your time
Kind regrards Andy Crispin
