I'm planning to walk the 50 km version of the Thames Path Challenge on the 29th September to support the fantastic team at St Michael's Hospice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, who were so wonderful with my Mum at the end of her life. Others will be joining me and maybe you would like to!? My aim is to do the distance in 12 hours. My Mum aways loved walking and so this seemed a fitting way to remember her as well as supporting such a deserving institution. 

St Michael's serves a broad community in North Yorkshire and it costs nearly £4million a year to keep them doing what they do, smiling, always at your side when needed, so gentle and kind with people in distress. They are simply wonderful.
