Fundraising for Albinism Fellowship
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the London Marathon on 23rd April in aid of the Albinism Fellowship. This is a wonderful small charity that provides support to people with Albinism and their families.
Albinism is a rare genetic condition affecting approximately 1 in 14,000 people in the UK, including my son Arthur (8). The condition limits a persons ability to produce melanin, which gives our skin pigment but is also used to form our eyesight when we are born. People with albinism are typically fair skinned and are prone to skin damage from UV in the sunshine. They are also visually impaired and so face some challenges.
The albinism fellowship has been a valuable source of support and information to me and my wife to help our son Arthur face those challenges and I would like to raise money to help others with albinism and their families. Your donation to this cause is very much appreciated. Thank you!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
