Story
I have helped run the Caritas Refugee Education project for close to 5 years now. I deeply care about this project because of the way it changes peoples lives and offers a welcoming environment for new arrived refugees and asylum seekers.
There is an ever growing need for refugee support services, especially in light of COVID 19, which is why I am fundraising for a project that believes in the empowerment of people who have had to start their lives again in a new country.
I will be cycling 80 miles over 1st May- 18th June , which is the distance one of our students Peter had to take through a perilous desert in order to flee his home country of Sudan and reach Libya. This was the first step of his very long and dangerous journey to the U.K.
I hope you consider sponsoring me for this very important cause.
