My name is Andree Lyon, I have a vision to do all eight of the Run Across the World  (RAW) events, pending corporate sponsorship deals. 

I have committed so far to RAW Africa and RAW Mexico.

This is going to be the biggest challenge I have ever faced, but having friends fighting breast cancer and having seen people lose the battle it's nothing compared to the day to day courage shown by these people. That's why I need your help to raise as much money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer as possible, also to spread the word to self-examine regularly. You owe it to yourself to take the best care possible of your body

The RAW series is a brand new series of events; the toughest foot race series in the world. Each event is  5 days long. The distance covered is 250km (approx 150 miles) of intense running on the world's toughest trails in severe weather conditions; the scorching desert heat, the humid mountain ranges and the paralyzing arctic cold. There are 8 separate events begining in South Africa in April 2008 and ending in the Arctic in 2009.

ALL OF THIS WHILST CARRYING ALL KIT AND FOOD FOR THE 5 DAYS, INCLUDING EQUIPMENT SUCH AS AN ANTI-VEMON PUMP.

This will be a real personal challenge for me having never travelled further than France;  the whole experience is going to be a real-life adventure.
