Event: The Grand Brighton Half Marathon 2020, on 23 February 2020
Sussex University Mens Rugby Team are supporting the RFU Injured Players Foundation by taking on the 2020 Brighton Half Marathon and fundraising throughout the 19-20 season with the aim to raise £15,000!

Story

Welcome to Sussex Men's Rugby charity page for this season. This is now the 5th consecutive year that we have taken part in the Brighton Half Marathon. 60 of our members will be running in aid of the RFU Injured Players Foundation, a charity who aid research into serious brain and spinal injuries suffered in sport. This is an issue very close to our hearts as Rugby players and want to add to the £35,000 we've raised in the past 4 years. We would massively appreciate any donations big or small! This is what your money can do: - £30 helps an injured player access extra physio to support their recovery. - £20 helps and injured player’s family travel to visit them in hospital. - £10 will help fund research to better understand how to prevent future injuries. As you would agree this is drop in the ocean considering the benefit this will give to those we help!
