Pega London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge for Youth Sport Trust, 6 July 2023
Pegasystems are cycling from London to Amsterdam to raise funds to support the Youth Sport Trust's work to tackle the urgent youth mental health crisis through the power of sport and play.

Story

In July, I'll be joining a small crew from Pegasystems cycling from London to Amsterdam over 3 days. That's 259 miles (416 km), rain or shine!

Why? To raise funds and awareness for the work of Youth Sport Trust. Never before have young people been as unhealthy or as unhappy as they are now with rising numbers reporting symptoms of anxiety and depression, alongside a decline in levels of physical activity. Less than half of children (47.2%) are active for the Chief Medical Officers recommended daily amount of 60 minutes a day. And 2.2 million children fall well below that level and are active for less than 30 minutes. Vital funds are needed to enable the Youth Sport Trust to take urgent action to build back happier and more resilient young people and level the playing field for those most disadvantaged, through the power of play and sport.
