Story
As most of you know, this year has been particularly difficult for my family. My husband Mark was diagnosed with bladder cancer in February, it wasn't expected and it came as a huge shock to us all.
However, after a couple of operations and some targeted chemotherapy he is now in remission. Cancer is so prolific for us at the minute, close friends and other family members have also been on this cancer rollercoaster, and we realise now more than ever how important research is in working towards getting rid of this rotten disease forever.
Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen.
Across the UK, teams of friends and family fundraise for world-leading cancer research. Then, we unite as a collective at a weekend-long festival to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making. Together, we remember loved ones and celebrate the tomorrow’s made possible.
We would be hugely grateful if you can give what you can, every penny will help.
Together we are beating cancer.
