Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

Well, it's now a couple of weeks to the GNR. All the hard work and training is paying off as I ran just under 11 miles on Monday and still felt great after it, so I'm not phased by the big half marathon anymore. I finally realised I can do it!!!

My long suffering, darling Stephen has only got another couple of weeks to put up with me "just going for a quick run" and poor Judith will not have to put up with me timing every run for aPB! (Although I have to be honest, I'm really enjoying it now so I will be keeping it up after the race).

Please give generously - remember, the more you give, the harder I have to try!  If you need any more convincing, please think of all the much needed work the NSPCC does and the difference it makes to the lives of thousands of vulnerable and mistreated children. Terrible things are happening to children all around you and we need to stop it. Every child had the right to a happy, healthy and innocent childhood - it's every childs right.

It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NSPCC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. For example if you are a taxpayer, a donation of £10 will give the NSPCC almost £12 !!
