Story

The Henderson & Irvine families are taking on the 100 miles in April! We are challenging ourselves to walk or run 100 miles throughout April! We are doing it in memory of our granda Rodge who we sadly lost in February this year after suffering from 2 strokes within a year! Our Granda loved the outdoors and his garden, and that is a reason we are doing this to get outside! We miss him every day but we know he will be looking after his sunflowers, begonias and garden up there🌻🤍

Your fundraising can help in incredible ways:• £150 could help pay for research into new stroke treatments, such as thrombolysis, a clot-busting drug that returns the blood supply to the brain that has transformed the outcomes of stroke survivors who have received it.• £250 could pay for one hour of Helpline activity, helping the families of stroke survivors support their loved ones after stroke.• £300 could enable a Co-ordinator to demonstrate how to use My Stroke Guide to a stroke survivor, empowing them to take control of their recovery and feel less isolated
