Story

I’m running  for a few important reasons.

Firstly, because someone very special to me has Type 1 Diabetes, I want to show my support by helping JDRF in their relentless mission to find a cure. To that special someone, I'm so proud of you. Type 1 doesn't define you - there's nothing you can't do, so reach for the stars ❤️

Secondly, for my Dad, who recently passed. Our relationship was complicated, but I loved him - he was my Dad.....

I always remember him being so proud when telling us how, as a child, he was a good runner and was offered an amazing opportunity. However, his Dad was strict, and wouldn't let him take it. So, Dad, this is for all the runs you never got to do. I hope to make you proud ❤️

Thirdly, I’m running because life is so precious, and I want to make some memories. I’m really lucky I get the opportunity to run, and raise money.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to anyone that donates ❤️
