Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Cancer. Everyone experiences it these days. Thankfully, not everyone will suffer from it themselves. But we all know someone who has survived it, or perhaps not been so lucky. We are a group of six employees from Northcliffe, which produces the South Wales Evening Post and Swansea Life, among others., and we are going to raise £2,000 for Cancer Research UK. But we need your support.
The driving force behind our effort is Andrea Vecchi, who sadly lost her mum to cancer shortly after she turned 49 years old. She has already done one skydive, raising money for Maggie’s cancer care centres. This time around, we’ve decided to raise funds for another essential arm of the fight against cancer - Cancer Research, and will be throwing ourselves out of a plane in our attempt to do this.
You could call it a leap of faith, if you wanted. Other team members have also lost family members to this atrocious disease, and we want to do what we can to prevent future generations from suffering from cancer, and from suffering the grief of losing people too soon.
Please, please help us achieve our goal. It’s for you and your loved ones, as much as it is for us and ours. Let’s give our children, our children’s children and beyond a future free from cancer.
