At the Dougie Mac Donna Louise the children and young people are given to the choice to be enrolled on the moment beads programme.  These moment beads were inspired by Olivia's Beads of Courage.

After enrolment each child is given the beads that spell their name.  Then for each activity they take part in while at the hospice they get another bead.  This can be taking part in a music session, going for a walk in the sensory garden or joining in arts and crafts.  These beads are then strung together to tell the visual story of their time at the Donna Louise.
