Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be celebrating my 40th birthday in February 2011 and have set myself a challenge in aid of a very special charity and in celebration of my Mum's life. My challenge will be to walk 36 miles along the south west coastal path from Hartland Point to Boscastle over a long weekend in September 2010.
My Mum, Diana Charles lost her battle with breast cancer on 1 July 1993 having celebrated her 50th Birthday a couple of days earlier on 28 June; she had been first diagnosed with breast cancer in her early forties.
Whilst in the latter stages of her illness she had spent time in the St Richard's Day Hospice at Rose Hill and looked forward each week being thoroughly spoilt by the Day Hospice Team.
My challenge is to raise at least £500 for St Richard's and to be fit enough to meet the challenge!
