I have worked in the Bronx for Montefiore for over 15 years. I am disheartened seeing the devastating effects COVID and other health ailments have had on disadvantaged children and families especially those of color.  

Money raised by the Champion for CHAM marathon runners will benefit CHAM's Quality in Life Team (QUILT). This team of palliative care experts are trained to help families navigate medical decisions and offer support as they face the uncertainty of life-threatening and fatal illnesses, including COVID-19. Additionally, QUILT provides supportive contact for those patients who are unable to have a family member present due to infection control issues.
