Andrea 's Race to the Fulbeck for Dad - 400km in 74 days

15 years ago my heart was broken along with my 6 brothers and sisters and my Mum and our lives were never the same again. I remember being at college getting a call from Mum and then in less than 2 weeks Dad was gone, no pre-warning, no time to digest what was happening and no time to make any more memories. 💔
He was only 58 and loved by everyone that met him and had the funniest wittiest (dirtiest 🤦🏻♀️) sense pf humour! In all honestly he was a nightmare, loud, ex Army, but somehow he got away with it 🤷🏻♀️😂. My son was only 1 years old and didn’t get a chance to get to know his Grandad but I’ve always been determined to keep his memory alive ❤️
Over the years I’ve done events such as an abseil and the Jurassic coast marathon but this year I thought I’d put my love of running to good use 🏃♀️
Dads favourite place to be was on holiday in Mablethorpe sat in the Fulbeck pub, drinking Brandy and peppermint, passing us £1 coins for the jukebox whilst we played pool...it’s definitely one of my happiest memories of us all as a family too so I’m going to run there! Obviously Covid is stopping me actually running there so instead I’ll run 400km (395.89km exactly from my house to the Fulbeck) in 74 days which is how old Dad would have been this year.
All donations will be much appreciated and help so many families, I’d also love support from anyone that would like to run with me over the next 74 days ☺️
Thank you ❤️❤️
