I found a lump in my left breast on my sons 15th birthday in August 2021. After a mammogram, ultrasound scan and biopsies 2wks later, I was given the news no one wants to hear........especially 9 months after losing my soulmate/husband to Prostate Cancer! How unlucky could my kids be 🤷‍♀️

I had an operation on 10th December 2021 to remove the tumour and all the lymph nodes under my arm. The good news is it looks like the surgeon got all the cancer out, but I still have 8 cycles of chemotherapy and then radiotherapy to endure. So, being as I'm going to lose my hair anyway, I thought it'd be a great idea to enlist the help of family, friends, and my work family, to raise money with a group head shave. And hopefully I will be back at work myself by the end of this year 😊
