***2022 UPDATE***
Thank you for believing in me and for all your kind donations in 2021 to St Benedict’s Hospice.
I had to defer my 2021 place because I tested positive for covid19 and I was poorly. I’m working on my fitness and so pleased to be able to have a place in the Great North Run 2022!
I am not a competitive runner but I am a 46 year old wife, mother and registered Children’s Nurse working in the NHS.
I have thought about doing the Great North Run for many years but didn’t enter because I thought I was too unfit and scared of the challenge.
I have set myself a huge challenge with running the Great North Run 13.1 miles.
I am raising money for an amazing charity that needs our support. St Benedict’s Hospice in Sunderland offers free care, advice and support for patients, and their families, who have a life-limiting illness.
Any amount of donation will be gratefully accepted large or small because every penny counts.
Thank you so much for your donation. It really means a lot to me and to St Benedict’s Hospice.
Lots of love from Andrea xx
