Story
I recently lost my father to bladder cancer. He was a truly exceptional and generous man who left a big void behind him.
Apart from being a truly painful event, this has made me realize how little we know about bladder cancer and how aggressive it can be if not diagnosed in time. Bladder cancer is the 4th case of death amongst male cancer patients in the UK (and 5th for women). Despite this, there is very little public awareness over it. For this reason, me and my dearest friend Yoss have decided to run the Amsterdam Marathon on 21st October to support Fight Bladder Cancer. This is a small charity that is doing so much to improve awareness, provide support and fund research to fight bladder cancer.
God bless you for your contributions. I’m sure that my father will be watching from somewhere out there and smiling at us as he used to do.
