We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

On the 6th June we will be cycling a colossal 100km/62 miles (around the same distance between London and Brighton!!) through the night, taking in the sights of London and it’s traffic AND most likely the drunks…We aren’t sure yet which is the biggest challenge, missing a night’s sleep or cycling all that way, we start at 11pm and are hoping to do it in 5 and a half hours, however,  we’re armed with Pro Plus and padded cycling shorts, now all we need is your help and a little motivation!

Some of you may or may not know our work colleague Ian Martindale. Very sadly Ian’s mum suffers from Corticobasal Syndrome which is a rare progressive neurological disorder similar to Alzheimer's or dementia.

Ian recently took on the challenge to trek across the Great Wall of China which he very successfully completed and managed to raise a huge amount of money along his journey. Ian actually raised £5,232 for the Alzheimer’s Society!

We are both very proud of Ian’s achievement and decided ‘why stop there, perhaps we could continue to try and raise even more money and take on our own challenge’…

Please, please support us in any way that you can by donating to the Alzheimer’s Society through the link here:

We would really appreciate your support, dig deep if you can!

Thank you x
