Story

Hi, thank you so much for looking at my page!

For anyone who doesn't know me, Im a 31 year old mother who is extremely unfit, overweight and actually scared to death of this challenge! So on that basis I think you should sponsor me :0)

I had booked my hotel room for the weekend of the Great North Run some weeks ago to have a leisurely weekend away enjoying "watching" my colleagues take part ...somehow this has now turned into me registering and paying to take part which was a decision made sober I will have you know :0/ .....

I am a charity fundraiser in my spare time but take the much easier route of organising big posh dinners and balls where the only exercise needed is dancing on the dancefloor and so to date this will be the biggest sporting event I have ever taken part in ...other than giving birth of course ;0)

As this is for an excellent cause, I am taking this challenge extremely seriously and have started a training schedule. If I dont run the whole course, im sure walking it is just as rewarding and worth every penny to give to the RNIB.

Please, please take pity on little old me and spare a thought for anyone who is registered blind or partially sighted and give as much as you can... even if its just to laugh at my pheobe run (friends) :0)

On a serious note... RNIB are an extremely worthy charity who do wonders for people. Can you imagine never seeing your children??

ALL donations are welcome with huge thanks

Thank you

P.S I failed to mention - to add to the humour, I will also be dressed as a spartan!! Come on guys dig deep!! :0)
